The Hero / Basic experiences and tips Empty The Hero / Basic experiences and tips

Sa Nov 24, 2018 9:19 pm
Hello Jarls,
I would like to share a few experiences and tips with you regarding the hero and his or her equipment.
The hero is needed to fight invaders and other players. But also in building, researching, training troops, in the production of resources - depending on which equipment he gets attracted by you, which gems you install in the armor parts and on what skills you distribute his skill points.
How do you strengthen your hero?

About research, equipment, skill points.
First, with the research in the oracle - but not in the hero category please, that's the wrong path. But in the category invaders. There you have to unlock with research, which levels of invaders he can fight. In addition, you can improve his stamina, energy consumption, hit strength, etc. In particular, the number of attacks he can attack one after another in a series on the invader and increases each time the bonus on his attack strength. Called "Hero's Sustained Attack". The higher the research, the more runs in a row with increasing attack power are possible. After that, the attack bonus no longer changes and you can finish with an Enhanced Attack. So the most important research areas are: Unlock the level, Hero's attack damage, Hero's SustainedAattack, Critical hit rate, Educed Invaders Defense.

Second, the equipment including gems.
Without strong heroes you can fight badly. Material for good equipment in the forge you can get to tasks but almost only by fighting against invaders. Well, first of all, one should concentrate on getting the equipment set against invaders, the Guardsman. With this set it is easier to get other equipment. However, it is available only from Hero Level 45 and higher.

The Guardsman consists of 5 pieces of equipment (the amulet double), all of which can be found in the forge at the equipment of the invaders: Guardsmans Helmet, Sword of Vengeance, White Robe, White Boots, Plated Gauntlet. The materials for this - Cast Steel, Rivets, Caps, Armor Elements, White Leather - are available at the invaders Guardsman and the Uber invader Avarin (but UberIs as the Avarin you should attack only if you have a strong Guardsman set!).
The Helmet and Boots are more useful in the fight against invaders than the others. If it makes the material in the camp possible, then forge these two first, Helmet and Boots. The others after these two.
Start with a small level of equipment first, green or blue, and later to collect for legendary? It is close, you want to climb as fast as possible the next summit. But whether it ended up being the cheaper way is another matter. The advice of old hands is: collect longer and only forge, if you can get it in legendary. And each of these pieces. That sounds hard. I think by now they are right about the bottom line. But I'm also honest, I did not have the patience. I forged the helmet and boots in epic and then knocked on it until Guardsman invaders until I could forge the next pieces legendary. Was then probably the second best way wink.

Part 2 follows, stay tuned Smile

The Hero / Basic experiences and tips Empty Re: The Hero / Basic experiences and tips

So Nov 25, 2018 12:01 am
Phew, the court guards first, ok. Oh, I forgot: in his armor parts a peridot and an emerald jewel should be melted into each. Push it noticeably.

And then equipment for the fight player against player (PvP)!? The advice of the old hands is again another: You are still under construction, so do everything that makes it easier for you to build up and accelerate you faster and more cost-effective. And that means, after the Guardsman set one should acquire pieces of equipment, which promote the building, the research, the troop training. Then sets for combat suit and scouts can follow.
Therefore first to these other sets and here I do it a little bit shorter:

St means: to be found under the standard equipment
E means: to be found among the equipment for invaders
Lvl xy = to get from Lvl xy of the hero

To build:
Brown Helmet: E, Level 40, Materials are available at the Man-Eater and Longobards.
Packs Breastplate: E, Level 35, Material of the Canis and Picts.
Vanquisher´s Blade: St, level 15, material in various E. and also in the tasks.
Barbarian Boots: E, Level 30, Barbarian and Gepide material.
2x Victor´s Bracelets: St, Level 45, requires 3x debris. At various E. and in the tasks.
Victor's Bracelets earns the most percentages, but is also the latest available.

Research or learning:
Copper helmet: E, from level 50, material for Celts and Avarin
Daredevil´s Armor: St, level 32, diamonds and granite, available by tasks and invaders
Southern sword: E, from level 45, material at Gascogn and Gepide
Gascogner Boots: E, from level 50, material at Gascogn and Gepide
2 x Falkon-figure: St, from level 40, material diamonds, glass and elixir, is also available by tasks
In weapons and boots, there could be other parts with learning speed and otherwise bring for a branch of troops fighting values. I do not remember.

Training the troops:
Fur Hat: E, from level 40, material of Hun and Gepide
Alternative is the Plate Helmet: E, from level 40, material of Khazar and Avarin
Steppe Caftan: E, from level 40, material from the Hun and Gepide
Khazar´s Bow: E, from level 45, material of Khazar and Avarin
Boots: none found
2 x Lion Medallion: E, from level 50, material from the Cave Lion and Longobards

Scouts come later rather, I just call it short, these are mainly parts that can be found in the category E from level 50 with material of the hunt pack (wool hood u.a.). I'll also let you know that later there will be better armor parts to build, etc., when the clan in the fortress has completed the research and unlocks the special parts there (for example, Björn's Helmet and Björns Gear). So far we are not yet.

There are other options of special sets: the lynx parts for a strong defense (who wants to have no shield up ;-) - just kidding. This is more likely to defend the PoP. Or the set of the Saracen, that has troop protection, life, and damage for all troop types, rather than just for certain types of troops. So if your army is a general store. However, one should not proceed at first, but specialize in a single type of troops - in research in the oracle under military, in the citadel of the Valkyries (always first for T1, then 2, then 3). And then just about the specialized equipment set of the hero, so to speak the "combat suit" for the fights player versus player (pvp).
And for that combat suit you have to decide yourself or go after the first part that you can forge, which troop type you want to concentrate on - Melee, Ranged, Killers, Siege, Cavalry?
There are certain sets especialy to one type of troop. For example, the armor parts of the Gascogn specialized for Cavalry, the Snake parts for the Ranged, Lion for Killers. The bottom line is that the sets bring the better results for a particular branch of service. But you can also choose other combinations, if you get to other parts faster. For example, Loki's mask or parts of the tyrant. But it remains important: Concentration on one's own branch of service and ! points for protection and life are more important than for damage to the opponent !!!.

And last but not least, the gems. They can be fused in the workshop to higher levels and used in armor parts. The higher the armor part, the more places you can place gems. And gems of the same level can be installed, higher does not work. Say: legendary gems are just going to use in a legendary armor part. And with those you can do a lot of extra points.
For the Guardsman we recommend a peridot and an emerald in every piece of armor. For building, there is only the rare Indiglioth, but you can also increase their own wood, stone, iron, silver or food production. With a corresponding legendary gem by 10%. Of one variety, however, only one gem can always be used in one piece of armor. Unfortunately, two of the same does not work.

In the beginning, you will not be able to put several sets together and then change them as needed. But you just change the equipment of the current hero in the show room. Insert components before starting a construction task. Learning parts put in and activate it before starting a research assignment. Training parts before troops are recruited. Then add the pieces of armor you need for the next task, e.g. the Guardsman set against intruders. The component does not have to be on it until the construction project is finished, it is sufficient when the construction process has started. But just before that, it has to be on it. Just as a building acceleration booster must be started before, but not have to run to the end.
Advantage: you can use the standard field for the current hero set and you do not need bonuses for switching between hero sets (cost 2000 gold each). Disadvantage: You can not distribute the skill points to the specific mission objective, but work with a fixed distribution of skill points. This leads rather to "some of everything but nothing realy strong".

Therefore, over time you create several fixed sets, and there you can best distribute the skill points achieved by the hero for the specific task. When building the set for building and resources. The training set, for troop training. And then you always switch back and forth between the sets by activating the next one with the bonus "hero set activation" (costs 2000 gold per piece). This not only changes the equipment but also the specially distributed skills of the hero.

What you should activate in the Heroeset and replace should be your own topic.

The Hero / Basic experiences and tips Empty Re: The Hero / Basic experiences and tips

So Nov 25, 2018 12:36 am
What can you do with the hero if you are not yet at level 45 and can start collecting and forging the Guardsman´s equipment? Here are a few tips, there are basically two things:

First, of course, attack invaders at level 1 or 2. Unfortunately, there are no pieces of armor below hero level 45 that increase the hero's attack power or weaken the protection of the invaders. So you can work off so first only the research levels for the intruders in oracles. And that's exactly what you should focus on as first research.

While there are no armor pieces below level 45 that will strengthen the hero against invaders. But you can use armor pieces in which you use the highest possible level of the peridot and emerald gems. At least that helps his endurance and recovery.

If you have enough bonus elements to jump the city, look on the map for locations where at least two or more of the invaders are close to each other you want to attack. Thus you shorten the way and increase the number of the invaders and thus the obtained material - but attention: do not change the invaders after each attack but attack one to the end and then only the next. Because if you attack a second in the middle, the series goes out on the first and thus the attack bonus loses your attack series, which you had increased with each attack. And the next attack on Intruder 1 starts again at 0% attack bonus.

Secondly, click on Build and Research and Orders and redeem all Update Packages for orders. Hoarding is not worth it. Why?
All three brings the necessary experience points to level up the hero (and the shaman) towards Level 45 and beyond. Nothing gets you to higher levels faster. Especially the research in the oracle.

After the research against invaders, you should attack the research of troops 1 and 2, later 3. They bring comparatively fast many experience points for hero and shaman. In addition, they are afterwards for the fight PvP important, because there fully explored T1 troops are stronger in the fight than troops of the higher levels, which are not explored!

The good construction and research equipment of the hero you can get only when he has reached a high level.  Damned. Yes, but. There are also armor parts, especially with the amulets, which improve the building or the research or significantly reduce the resource requirements. Already 10% less resources are worth it. Three, four pieces of equipment installed, and the warehouse master is pleased. And may be you can strengthen it by gems. Just a few worthwhile examples of construction and research equipment.

Most of them require frequent material, such as the daily tasks contain, debris, diamonds, ropes, lead, feathers, etc. But they also compete with each other. So, look in advance, which part brings you more, if you need the same material for two, but have only enough for one in the camp. And think well, if you better collect something more and forge the pieces first legendarily, get the maximum, instead of settling for the values of a "green" or "blue" part:

For research / learning (% information always referring to the legendary amplifier):

Leather boots, even at level 1, bring 3.3% learning speed. So even from the beginning you can relieve yourself with some pieces at least something.
Wooden Idol Amulet, Level 5, 2 Diamonds, Learning Speed 9%.
Othila Rune, level 10, 2 diamonds and one skin, learning speed 12%
Viking armor, level 13, 1 x diamond, glass and cotton, learning speed 6.9%.
Wolf figure, level 15, costs four diamonds, brings legendary but 30% learning speed! So two of them used, it is already 60% faster.
Or from level 20 the Odin figure with 27% learning speed, but also needs 3 diamonds.
Two other amulets with different material requirements are the Tyr figure (level 21 and 18.6%) and the Thor figure (level 20 and 18%).
From level 32, finally, the first "tail": the Daredevil armor, 2x diamond and 2x granite, brings learning speed 25.2%.

For building:

Dagaz Rune, level 5, 2x debris and 1x lead, building speed 9%
Leader's Boots or Level 5 Wolf Boots bring 4.5% build speed.
Vanquishers Blade, Level 15, 2x Debris, 1 Rope, 1 Lead, Construction Speed 15% - the first construction piece that is already part of the final construction kit. So it's better to forge legendary!
Raven Figure, level 20, 1x debris, feather, cotton, building speed 9%.
Alternative Bear figure, level 20, 1x debris, 2x glass, construction speed 9%.
Silver Bracer, Level 25, 2x Debris, 1 Glass, Construction Speed 21%
Carved Amulet, Level 30, 2x Debris, 1 Elixir, Build Speed 24%

There are also combi pieces that have building and research / learning values, such as the Fenrir Amulet, Level 35, 2x Diamond, 1 Debris, Learn 27%, and Build 13.5%. To use such "mixed race" is again a question that you have to decide in the end. Faster one for both or better more time for two "real" building or research parts ....

Important, here again pointed out: first, the special armor parts must be used in the hero, if there are matching gems, previously included into the armor, then even for building Bagi as Shaman, for research Inga, and construction or research booster start - then only start the construction or the research. It does not work retroactively. It does not have to stay that way until the end, you can change the armor right after the start of the process again for other tasks. And last but not least, the help of the clan members bring much, the longer the processes need. Since 20 help-clicks can even make instead of 15 only 12 or 11 weeks. Who wants to end it quickly needs less boosters.

Good luck
